IP Land Use Conflicts Plenary Meeting

7th April 2016, KUBUS - UFZ Leipzig

The meeting has been initiated by the UFZ Integrated Project Land Use Conflicts. It provides a platform to discuss recent progess and challenges in research on future landscapes, their structure, functions and services in consideration of biophysical, historical and social conditions. Within workshops three main issues will be discussed:

  1. Environmental scenarios,
  2. Consequences of environmental change on biodiversity, ecosystem functions and services, and
  3. Effectiveness of environmental policy instruments - ecological, economic and legal perspectives.

The meeting will be closed by a talk by András Báldi from the Centre for Ecological Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The workshop is free of charge for all participants.
